Hey there! As you might have noticed, I'm like one of the laziest, busy girls on this planet (it could make no sense at all, but... trust me, for me these two words match perfectly) so I don't like to make promises when I don't know if I can really keep 'em.
I can tell you that I'll do my best to finish at least "Sweet Home Tennessee" before school gets worst, with afternoon classes and all, I won't disappear, I promise.
Now... I just wanted to know, after I'll be done with SHT, you guys want me do continue "All That You Are" or I can start another one? I've already started to write it actually (eheh my bad!) and I wanted to give you a little "preview".
Feel free to tell me you prefer me writing ATYA! I won't get mad haha I wouldn't have asked for you opinion otherways! :)
I got a title in my mind, but I don't wanna write it still just cause I know till the end I'll change my mind about it! haha
Well... let me know!! Thanks guys <3
Hayley rubbed lazily her head as she woke up, eyes still shut, a surreal silence all around.
She felt comfortable, too comfortable to be in her bunk, but as soon as all her senses were awake, she froze.
She could feel how she was naked.
Well, at least just with her panties on, but before she could open her eyes to realize what was going on she felt her head spinning like a spinning top, and in a matter of second she found herself running to what she supposed was the bathroom, spewing.
“The heck” she muttered, catching her breath and walking to the sink.
She quickly washed her mouth and her face with cold water, although the dizziness wasn’t gone yet.
She looked around, the bathroom was breathtaking, the furniture were the fanciest thing Hayley had ever seen, the two porcelain sinks had golden finishes and in the corner took its place a… used Jacuzzi?
“Oh my gosh”
She didn’t remember what happened, but she knew it wasn’t good, at all.
She only remembered her and the guys deciding to have a night off before leaving for Huston and… gosh, she had drank so much.
Suddenly her eyes fell on her hand, her left hand, and her heart skipped a beat.
“What the hell is this?” she slowly rose it to look at it clearly “No freaking way”
She whispered in disbelief, her free hand almost automatically went over her shocked, open mouth.
There it was, right on that precious finger, a ring. A golden ring.
A wedding ring.
“No” her eyes started filling with tears from the agitation.
“Oh my God” she closed them, trying to keep calm and think rationally.
It was true, she had got drunk in Las Vegas, it had been a bit reckless action, but she couldn’t really be married… she still had to get married, for God’s sake.
How had this happened? And… with who?
Hayley bit her lip, she was afraid to walk into the bedroom, she was afraid to face the truth.
But what if he was already gone? In the hurry for the bathroom she didn’t even see where she was.
“Wait a minute” she mumbled to herself.
Her lips parted into a wide smile “I can get a divorce!” she sighed relieved at the thought, maybe she wasn’t the only one who didn’t want this, even though she still couldn’t get how it happened, she knew her drunk self was dangerous, but she also knew she didn’t get along with strangers, and she surely didn’t marry them, most of all if she had to marry someone else.
She took a deep breath. It was easy, and she didn’t even feel that guilty because she didn’t remember a thing, so who said they had actually slept together?
Okay, she was half naked, the Jacuzzi had still bubbled water in it with consumed candles all around… but that didn’t mean a thing.
As soon as she would have woken whoever-was-in that-bed up, she would have had her divorce, nobody would have got to know what happened and it all would have ran normally again along its way.
She grabbed the bathrobe and after another deep breath she stepped outside with a forced smile on her face, trying to look self-confident, but all the figure she had built up disappeared as her gaze went to the guy that now was sitting on the bed, rubbing tiredly his eye, carved naked torso and all.
He looked up, she was puzzled, unable to make a move, and soon he was too.
His expression turned into a perplexed one, he cocked his head, frowning.
It couldn’t be real.
All I can say is... don't take it for granted haha if there's a thing I know about this story is that it'll have a lot of surprises! hahah
Let me know what's your first impression! And you can guess what's going on if you want... I wouldn't mind at all!! Like... who's the guy? ;)
